The school day starts at 8:55am and finishes at 3:25pm. Staff are on the playgrounds from 8:50am to meet and greet the children ready for learning to start at 8:55am. Children should be on the school grounds and ready to meet their teacher at 8:50am. The length of the school day equates to 32.5 hours per week.

Teachers will take the register by 9:00am each day. Any child arriving after 9am will be given a 'late' (L) code. Registers close at 9:15am therefore any child arriving at school after 9:15am will be registered with a 'late after registers close' (U) code. 

Different classes have different entrance and exit doors. 

For 2025 - 2026:

Reception (Pearl - Mrs Bailey) 

Entrance and exit - green gate onto the Reception playground 

Year 1 (Diamond - Mrs Wouters)

Entrance and exit - KS1 external door in the pathway next to the KS1 playground 

Year 2 (Emerald - Mrs Pawsey)

Entrance  - KS1 external door in the pathway next to the KS1 playground 

Exit - class door onto the KS1 playground 

Year 3 (Sapphire - Miss Atkinson)

Entrance - meet Miss Atkinson on the main playground

Exit - yellow door near the main office / Children's Centre playground 

Year 4 (Amber - Mr Penberthy)

Entrance - meet Mr Penberthy on the main playground

Exit - main school entrance 

Year 5 (Opal - Miss Razaq) and Year 6 (Amethyst - Mrs Stevenson and Topaz - Mrs Ward)

Entrance - meet your teacher the main playground

Exit - door on the top level (next to Reception green gate) onto the main playground 

 

Children have staggered breaks and lunchtimes.
