School Meals
Our school meals are provided by Leeds City Council Catering Agency. The charge is £13.75 per week (£2.75 per meal).
We use a system called School Grid for ordering and paying for school meals. Parents/carers are required to either download the School Grid app or access the site via their web browser. A password is provided to all families when they start school. Parents/carers should, along with their child(ren), choose their school meals at home by 8am daily, and make payment on the School Grid portal.
All meals are prepared on site, using seasonal local produce where possible. We offer a choice from 2 hot meals with one choice being vegetarian, and either a baked potato/sandwich option. Our chicken curry days and roast dinners are firm favourites with our children! We have two menus per year from September to February and from March to July and each menu has a three-week cycle.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal (universal free school meals).
Children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) may be eligible for a free school meal (income based free school meals) if their parents or carers receive any of the following benefits:
- income support
- income based Job Seeker’s Allowance
- income based Employment and Support Allowance
