We are proud of our church links and our links with the Diocese of Leeds. Father Chris Buckley from St John's and St Barnabas, Belle Isle, is a member of our governing body and regularly attends school to lead worship.

The historic church of St Mary the Virgin is no longer in use for worship, but the tower stands next to St Mary's Primary Academy.
